Role Overview:
As a Total Rewards Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our client's hiring managers and ensuring the effective management of compensation-related processes for their hourly employees. This individual contributor role requires expertise in hourly compensation structures and the ability to drive results independently, outside of your HR leadership chain of command.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual merit and review process, including bonus allocation and other compensation-related activities.
- Demonstrate your expertise by directly solving business problems through compensation strategies.
- Consult with hiring managers on offers that require negotiation, ensuring alignment with "mid-point"recommendations.
- Standardize and level set all job titles and pay ranges to maintain consistency.
- Collaborate with leadership to present compensation strategies and findings.
- Educate and support hiring managers throughout the hiring process, providing guidance on compensation-related matters.
- Create and maintain consistent job descriptions to facilitate hiring and career progression.
- Undertake special projects related to compensation and total rewards as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Proven experience in compensation and total rewards management, particularly in hourly compensation structures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Familiarity with compensation software and tools is a plus.
