SEC Reporting Manager
Job Description
Position Overview:
As the SEC Reporting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting for the organization. You will be responsible for coordinating the preparation and review of various SEC filings, including earnings releases, annual reports, proxy statements, and more. This role also involves conducting research, drafting technical accounting memos, and providing critical insights to support the company's financial disclosure requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the preparation and review of information included in earnings releases, annual reports on Form 10-K, Proxy Statements, Form 10-Q, Form 8-K, and other SEC filings.
- Perform SEC reporting tasks, including managing the disclosure checklist, gathering data, drafting technical accounting memos, and preparing financial reporting SOX documentation.
- Research and draft new financial disclosure requirements and provide variance analysis for Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A).
- Offer support for Investor Relations activities, assisting in the communication of financial results and company performance.
Qualifications:
- CPA certification.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in public accounting with publicly traded clients.
- Strong understanding of SEC reporting requirements, concepts, and technical accounting.
- Experience with financial disclosure research and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
