We are currently representing a dynamic restaurant group seeking a Senior Accountant –Franchisee Accounting to join their team. Position Overview:
As a Senior Accountant –Franchisee Accounting, you will play a pivotal role within the Accounting and Operations team, aligning your efforts with the corporate mission. In this role, you will provide critical financial, analytical, and administrative support to both Corporate and Franchisee accounting departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze franchisee revenue, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Calculate, invoice, and accrue franchise and service fees in a timely manner.
- Oversee franchisee local marketing expenditure, maintaining appropriate records and reconciliations.
- Analyze accounts receivables and reserves to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Provide exceptional customer support and maintain open communication channels with franchisees.
- Ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
- Identify and drive continuous process improvement initiatives within the accounting department.
- Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;CPA certification preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ASC 606.
